Overview of the ClubThe High Bat Tree Club runs from 3.15 to 6.15 Monday to Thursday, during term time only.
Catering for up to 36 children each day, we provide for children from High Beeches, The Kings, The Lea, and Sauncey Wood. We are based at East Hyde Village Hall and make use of the whole village hall and outdoor areas during club hours, whilst ensuring that the children are always supervised by experienced members of staff. Our experienced and dedicated Club staff participate in ongoing training on a regular basis in order to update their skills in childcare. We always have sufficient staff to ensure a ratio of 1:8, which complies with the Children Care Act 2006. The Club meets all the requirements laid down by OFSTED and are CRB checked. We have a fully equipped first-aid kit and there is always a trained first aid personel on duty. The club is covered with full accident insurance. If a child has a minor accident treatment will be given and a record will be made of the incident. The parent or guardian will be informed. Should an incident happen during school hours, we require accident slips received at school to be presented to the escort when arriving at the club.
